Throughout August, our partners took bold steps to protect the oceans and the creatures that call them home. From hands-on restoration and wildlife rescue to engaging local communities and raising awareness about marine conservation, this month was full of meaningful and impactful actions that contribute to healthier, more resilient ecosystems. Every effort, big or small, makes a difference in safeguarding our oceans for the future ✨🐠🌍.

August at the Habitat: Enrichment, Outdoors, and Memories
Cochrane Polar Bear Habitat x ClubOcean®
This month, Ganuk and Henry have been making the most of the cooler northern weather. They are spending more time outdoors, relaxing and enjoying their enrichment activities 🌿🐾. Their calm presence continues to inspire both visitors and staff.
As August also marks the first anniversary of the passing of Inukshuk, our elder bear, we take a quiet moment to honor his memory 🤍. His spirit remains a part of the Habitat, while Ganuk and Henry carry his legacy forward.🐾
