Polar Bear Day 2025
Cochrane Polar Bear Habitat x ClubOcean®
This February, we are proud to welcome Cochrane Polar Bear Habitat as a new partner in our mission to protect marine and Arctic wildlife. As the world's only dedicated polar bear sanctuary, they provide a safe and enriching environment for bears that cannot return to the wild while also leading vital research and education efforts to protect Arctic ecosystems. Analysis and Community Education
MORIGENOS x ClubOcean®
This February, heavy rainfall in Slovenia limited field observations, but Morigenos made the most of this time by focusing on analyzing collected data to deepen their understanding of dolphin populations. In addition, they dedicated efforts to educational workshops, raising awareness among local communities about the importance of marine conservation and the role dolphins play in the Adriatic ecosystem. Their commitment to both research and public engagement remains unwavering, rain or shine! 🐬📚

Restoring Bali’s Beaches
R.O.L.E FOUNDATION x ClubOcean®
On February 7th, 2025, R.O.L.E. Foundation led another impactful beach cleanup at Kedonganan Beach, bringing together 55 volunteers, including Bali WISE students, SD 2 Kutuh elementary school students, and community members. Their collective effort resulted in the removal of 250.55 kg of waste, helping to restore the natural beauty of the coastline and protect marine life from harmful pollution. Their dedication to a cleaner, healthier ocean continues to inspire ! 💙♻️

Preparing for Turtle Nesting Season
DEKAFOK x ClubOcean®
This month, Dekafok focused on both awareness and conservation efforts. They created sea turtle illustrationsdisplayed outside their association and participated in the Southern Career Fair, where they educated visitors about marine conservation. In addition, they partnered with an academic expert to protect sand lilies, rare coastal plants essential to dune ecosystems. Meanwhile, with the help of Hungarian volunteers, they removed two tractor-trailers of garbage from a regularly cleaned beach. With just two months until the first turtles return to nest, Dekafok is working hard to ensure they find a clean and safe environment. 🐢🏖️

Protecting and Restoring Coral Reefs

This month, Ocean Gardener continued its mission to safeguard Bali’s coral reefs, ensuring these vital ecosystems remain healthy and thriving. In addition to their ongoing reef protection efforts, they successfully planted over 100 new corals, contributing to the restoration of marine biodiversity. Their dedication to coral conservation plays a crucial role in preserving ocean life for future generations ! 🌱🐠

In February 2025, Shark Guardian continued its mission to protect sharks through education and awareness. This month, they launched the "Shark Watch Project", running from February 2nd to 8th, encouraging divers and snorkelers to submit footage of shark sightings. The collected data will undergo detailed analysis to monitor shark populations and health, contributing to conservation efforts. Their dedication to education and research plays a vital role in fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation of sharks worldwide. 🌊🦈
